Precision Gage Company to Exhibit at Gear Expo 2017, Unveil New Prototype

American Gear Manufacturers Association’s biannual event promises to be the best yet

Precision Gage Company is pleased to announce that, from October 24-26th, the company will exhibit once again at Gear Expo. Every year since the event was founded, Precision Gage Company has exhibited, and excitement is building for everything the AGMA has in store.

This year, the industry’s premier show and conference will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Ohio. Thousands of gear industry professionals will attend to network and discover new, innovative solutions for all of their manufacturing needs, including forgings, bearings, heat treating, inspection, and more.

Roger Layland, President of Precision Gage Company says, “We have had equipment on display at the Gear Expo since the first event years ago. The show allows us to display our full line of gear inspection equipment to new and existing customers. We have used this event introduce upgrades to existing equipment and to show off new innovative products. This year is no exception—we expect this to be the best Expo yet.”

The Precision Gage Company booth will feature a broad range of gear products and services that benefit these industries. This, of course, includes Precision Gage Company’s Vari-Roll Gear Testing product line that, since 1952, has revolutionized the industry with its “building block” approach. It was this method that led to the creation of a measurement tool that delivers maximum accuracy and cost efficiency.

Precision Gage Company will also be introducing a prototype Measurement Over Balls gage that is sure to become the verification tool of choice across a wide array of gear fabrication applications. This new gage takes aim at the traditional micrometer and pins method, which is slow and heavily dependent on operator skill. It is a cost-effective solution that, because it provides accurate and repeatable measurement, should have a place beside any gear generation equipment. Stay tuned for more information—look for more on our website, blog, and newsletter about this and other products that Precision Gage Company will bring to Gear Expo.

Gear Expo also offers learning opportunities that provide drive-technology professionals with the knowledge it takes to succeed. Education tracks offered this year will include sessions for professionals who work in industries such as automotive and off-highway equipment, oil and gas, defense, aerospace, agriculture, and construction.

Make sure to take advantage of the free guest pass provided for Gear Expo (it saves you $50!) and register now.

We will see you at booth #1143!
